‘Touch and Go’ looked to exemplify its titular phrase about a situation that is uncertain in regards to common waste. It aimed to turn paper waste, and the creation of paper waste through shredding on its head–turning it from an office cliché into a meditative process that brings value back into the repetitive behavior of handling the paper.

Every aspect of the table is meant to highlight the beauty and uniqueness in each individual shred, and in their collective. The glass seamlessly mergers with the mycelium, blurring the lines of new and old.

Touch and Go was exhibited during Alicia Valdè’s bio-design show in Paris, 2024 and at Galerie45 in Paris, 2025.
