Re-Setting the Stage: An Analysis of Set Design Waste and Bio-design PossibilitieS

This thesis researches the systems within set design for fashion shoots and fashion shows that contribute to waste and a negative view towards used objects. Moreover, it looks to radical ways of creating and using objects to limit waste and shift the accepted paradigm of value.

Applied research took place in the form of interviews, assisting on set, and work with experimental design and material research studio Aléa.
